The Society of Parrot Breeders and Exhibitors, Inc. (SPBE) is an international society for excellence in its captive-breeding programs through the encouragement
and education of all fellow aviculturalists on the proper management and improved care of all psittacines. SPBE offers the following to its members:

BANDS ~ Closed, traceable bands
AWARDS ~ Breeder and Exhibitor awards
ADVICE ~ Individual advice on breeding techniques
JUDGES ~ Sanctioned Judges to provide national uniformity in judging
QUARTERLY JOURNAL ~ Invaluable to breeders, exhibitors and pet owners
FIND-A-MATE ~ Available list and surplus list established to help breeders locate birds needed for their breeding programs
