SPBE Bands Information

Attention: To all Band Purchasers:
To try and avoid delays at the beginning of the year, send your band orders in earlier than usual, so we invite you to order early for 2008. It is always wise to PREPLAN and order any bands early rather than wait until those eggs are laid or when the chicks are nearly ready to fledge. Thank you.

Ten Easy Steps For Ordering Bands 

1. Use a current order form and fill it out completely.

2. Print all of your information.

3. Place a stamp on your envelope and mail the form and payment to the correct address.

4. Order 4 weeks in advance, not 4 weeks after the egg has hatched, and the chick is too old to put the proper size band on. Rush orders:

   • Under $50.00 add $5.00  

   • Over $50.00 add $10.00  

5. Band numbers cannot be duplicated in the same year. So don't order ten #14 bands numbered from 01-10 and expect the #18 bands to be numbered 01-10.
6. Double check your addition.
7. Make check payable to SPBE.
8. NSF checks will result in forfeiture of your membership.
9. If you do not receive your order within 3 weeks after placement. Please call me or e-mail me. Don't wait.
